Zussen

Vega is 9 years old, calm, organized and, in her own words, the 'normal' one in the family. In contrast to her wild, creative and in magic believing 5 year old sister Billie. While their mother is in the hospital, the sisters go on a hike into the Norwegian wilderness with their outdoorsy daddy. The trip is all fun and games, until Dad suddenly falls into a mountain crack and hurts himself badly. The girls must seek help. Together they set off on a mission across the wild Norwegian nature and must brave wild animals, each other and their own fears. They meet a number of grown-ups, but none of them are able to help. In despair, they take matters into their own hands and decide to save Daddy all by themselves. An ode to the strength and persistence of children, girls, sisters. With two real sisters in the lead, directed by their own parents. From the makers of Knerten in Trouble a.o.

Only screened with Dutch dubbing.
