How nice that you are interested in volunteering at the Northern Film Festival! Without volunteers, there can be no Northern Film Festival, so we cordially invite you to join us.

This is what we expect from you:
Minimum Availability: We ask for a minimum of 3 shifts of about 6 hours per shift. If you are available for less, we will place you on the reserve list.
Preferences :We will take your preferences into account where possible, but we cannot always fully guarantee this.
Schedule: You will receive the first version of the schedule in the week of October 21. If your availability changes, please let us know quickly so we can adjust it.
The deadline to sign up as a volunteer for the 44th edition of the Northern Film Festival is October 14. If you signed up before the deadline, you will receive confirmation as soon as possible. Haven’t received anything after October 14? Check your spam. Still no email or have other questions? Contact our volunteer coordinator, Floris Visser.

The benefits of being a volunteer

Within the Festival, there are various tasks carried out by volunteers; you can indicate your preferences on the registration form and choose from the following options:
- poster team (prior to the festival, September & October)
- Volunteer desk / information desk
- Driver
- Catering staff
- Audience guid
- Cashier
- Venue coordinator / location manager (in consultation with volunteer coordination)
- Wardrobe
- Runner
- Merchandise
- Helping Set-up / Breakdown
