That Time of Year

This year Christmas Eve will be celebrated at Katrine and Mads' house and the entire family is invited: the divorced parents, the youngest sister with her new husband and off course the teenage daughter who is struggling to get her mothers attention. What appears to be a delightful Christmas dinner, quickly turns into a minefield and when the truth resurfaces the holiday festivities come to an unpleasant stop. From director and actress Paprika Steen comes this caustic Danish comedy about the deep-rooted grievances that can rip families apart and the ties that bind them together.
