Random strangers and even the Prime Minister thank her and there is even deafening applause when all of Amsterdam stands on the balcony to clap for her. Bettie experiences newfound self-respect as she finally gets the appreciation she deserves. She dares to stand up for herself, both in her work and home situation. In this short film, we see that Bettie turns into a true heroine. She proudly carries it to the supermarket and enjoys the respectful looks of the people passing by. However, when the redemptive message comes that the measures will be removed, she notices that it is difficult to feel true happiness about this. Will everything go back to normal?
