In de armen van Morpheus

Only in sleep can you escape from yourself. But what if your sleep is so intense that it disrupts your life in daytime? If your nightmares continue after waking up? If you're always tired and just want to close your eyes? In an era where efficiency, hard data and control are paramount, this Dutch documentary is an exploration into the beauty and cruelty of sleep. What appears to be a traditional documentary gradually changes into a feverish and sensory mosaic of radical sleep experiences. An irrational world that we cannot control, but it can control us.
