The Drunken Dragon D&D Café

Write your own story, be your own hero!

Not only filmmakers write stories; as a visitor, you can also get to work and create a story together. An epic story in which everyone is a hero, that gradually lets you in on a whole other world. Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a table top role playing game that anyone who has seen the series Stranger Things will know, but it is much more fun to play than to watch. Especially if you have an expert storyteller at the helm: an experienced Dungeon Master who expertly and enthusiastically guides you through your own story, with - of course - you as the hero. Disappear into a completely different world with your fellow adventurers, during the Drunken Dragon D&D Cafe at the Noordelijk Film Festival!

When purchasing a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to a form. In this form we ask for certain information, in order to best arrange the tables for the D&D Café - think: language, age, if you really like to sign up together (no guarantees). The DM of your table will then contact you for a small preparation. No experience is necessary. Please note: this event is from age 18. We expect the language at most tables to be Dutch, with one or two tables in English.

The D&D Cafe is organized in collaboration with The Drunken Dragon Leeuwarden.
