Storytelling Workshop

Putting Yourself In The Story
A workshop to help you tell stories in an imaginative and memorable way

This workshop will give a quick introduction to some of the helpful tools Marjolein Robertson uses when telling stories. Including remembering details, sharing the heart of the story and finding the emotion of the piece. Through group exercises we will explore techniques for bringing stories to life using both examples from folklore and our own lives.

Marjolein Robertson is a storyteller from Shetland who has just finished a sold-out storytelling run at the Edinburgh Fringe, placed 3rd in the Hot List 100 in Scotland in 2023 and was awarded Scots Speaker of the Year in 2022. On Friday night, during the Noordelijk Film Festival, she will perform the work in progress of her brandnew show TROWS at the Neushoorn.
