Panels Memmetaal: cultureel gewortelde verhalen

Language: EN

Of interest to creators and policymakers! Memmetaal kicks off with a panel discussion on Ownership. Joined by, amongst others, director and writer Taratoa Steppard from Mãrama and actor Mikkel Gaup from Árru, we will discuss the question: how do you deal with ethical and social responsibility when it comes to telling culturally rooted stories?

After the break, the second part of Memmetaal begins, focusing on the theme of Responsibility. This session starts with a case study: ‘Working with non-actors and communities’, followed by a workshop on how we can implement this in the North and in our own projects.

These panels are supported by the Frysk Film Fûns, Filmpact Noord and New Noardic Wave.
