A psychological thriller about an 18-year-old boy who meets a mermaid for the first time. Since his father taught him that these creatures are bloodthirsty, their father-son relationship comes under intense strain.

Peer (18) and his father Ivo are the last humans. They live in isolation in the forest, hiding from bloodthirsty mermaids. When Peer defies his father’s orders and goes exploring, he sees a mermaid for the first time. Peer flees back home but can’t resist visiting her again.

In this graduation film, cracks slowly form in their father-son relationship as Peer begins to question all the doom stories he was taught. A psychological thriller with a surreal twist.
