Life of Ivanna

Ivanna is a young Nenets woman and mother of five living in the Russian Arctic. She decides to take back control of her own life and emancipate herself from an abusive relationship with her husband. She leaves the traditional way of life in the tundra behind by emigrating to the city in search of a better life. With great intimacy and empathy, Ivanna's struggle and her feelings in this transition are portrayed, as she survives in absurd living conditions.
