Hex

In the Norwegian black metal scene, three young women unleash an artistic revolution when, without being able to play an instrument, they form the feminist band Witch Club Satan. Nikoline, Victoria and Johanna think it has been quiet long enough, transform themselves into witches and make a three-year pact to shake society to its foundations. Armed with mesmerizing rituals, humor and an awe-inspiring stage energy, they storm the main stages of major festivals in no time, but as success increases, their vision of freedom and mutual values is put to the test. What started as a provocative protest turns into a search for what it means to be independent, and how to stay afloat as an outspoken female musician in the music and metal world. The result is Hex: a cathartic film about sisterhood, unleashed anger and the liberating power of deafening noise.
