Film & Food – A Taste of Hunger (2h 34min.)

Maggie and Carsten have a dream and they are willing to sacrifice everything to achieve it! The Danish couple has everything they could ever wish for: they are invincible in the Danish gourmet scene, their extraordinary restaurant Malus is one of the most hyped in Copenhagen, they have two wonderful children and a happy relationship. But there is one thing still missing: to receive the highest possible honour in the culinary world - a Michelin star. In their desperate chase for ultimate recognition their nearly perfect life slowly begins to slip through their fingers when Carsten (played by Game Of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) receives a letter saying his wife is in love with someone else. A drama that, as director Christoffer Boe says himself, describes the sweet, sour, fat and salty moments that make up the ingredients of life.
