Thirteen-year-old Léo and Rémi have always been incredibly close, but they suddenly grow apart after their relationship is questioned by schoolmates. Completely puzzled, Léo turns to Rémi's mother, to help him understand what went wrong. When tragedy strikes, one of them is forced to face why he distanced himself from his best friend. In this Belgian drama, in which both French and Flemish is spoken, director Lukas Dhont (known for his acclaimed debut Girl) shows how the process of sexual discovery can be disastrous and cruel in a teenage environment.
