Blade Runner (The Final Cut)

Los Angeles, November 2019 - this is how the impressive science fiction film starts, just before the opening shot of a city in a relative distant future. To what extent would the image of the future in 1982 become reality? See for yourself, because the future is now! With its unique sets, groundbreaking special effects, exuberant costumes and breathtaking camera work, Blade Runner (The Final Cut) - The Future Is Now, offers a unique perspective of a dystopian society. The recently deceased Rutger Hauer had his breakthrough in the US with this film as Roy Batty (a so-called replicant) chased by Rick Deckard (Harisson Ford), an agent (Blade Runner) specialized in eliminating replicants.

This film is programmed by Joris Hoebe of New Noardic Wave.
