Light as Feathers

Fifteen-year-old Eryk lives with his mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother in a small village in Poland. He has a too intimate relationship with his manipulative and dominant mother. Eryk is in love with his thirteen-year-old neighbour next door, Klaudia, but he doesn't know the difference between love and abuse. This partly improvised drama about sexual violence was the debut of Dutch director Rosanne Pel in 2018 and has won awards at the Dutch Film Festival, among others.
