Drii Winter

In a remote mountain village in the Swiss Alps, the young love between Anna and Marco is put to the test. Anna is from the village and has a daughter from a previous relationship, while Marco is an outsider from the lowlands hired by the mountain farmers to work the rugged land. Together they experience the joy of new love and being close to their family. But when Marco suddenly begins to lose control of his actions, tension arises in the village. Throughout the change of seasons and the harshness of existence, Anna struggles to preserve a love she believes even death can’t surpass. Drii Winter, Swiss director Michael Koch's second feature, is a moving story about guilt, penance and forgiveness.
