Inga and her husband have a dairy farm in a small village near Reykjavik. Just like the neighboring farmers, they are members of the local dairy cooperative, which seem to look after anything but the interests of the farmers: they manage to maintain their monopoly position through blackmail and devious rules. When Inga's husband dies under suspicious circumstances, she decides that she has had enough of the corrupt system and tries to take the fate of her community back into her own hands. But not everyone seems too happy with this declared war on the milk mafia ... Icelandic tragicomedy by Grímur Hákonarson, who previously created the award-winning film Rams and received an Award for special contribution to Northern Cinema at the Northern Film Festival 2016.
