NHL: European Student Shorts

Around thirty students from Friesland, Tampere (Finland), and Mechelen (Belgium) will be visiting Leeuwarden in the week leading up to the Northern Film Festival. The students will work in mixed groups under the guidance of professional coaches to make their own short films. They will learn a great deal about the filmmaking process in a short period of time and will have to complete their films in just four days. On Friday afternoon, the short films will be shown at the film festival to fellow students and teachers, friends and family, and other interested members of the public.

The students come from NHL Stenden Academy of Media Commerce and Entrepreneurship in Leeuwarden, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), and Thomas More in Mechelen. The European Students Shorts is made possible in part by the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program.
