This short film is about the clash between loneliness and pushing away relationships. It is about the confrontation of guilt that one carries precisely leaving it behind rather than preventing it. That guilt creates the greatest shortcomings, and the step to improving one's life with that insight is incredibly difficult. The most painful reflection of self-isolation is shared with the like-minded floating sweet girl. Director Leon Wohlrabe, who himself lives in Drenthe, used the Sahara in Ommen and the Aekingerzand shifting sands as a cinematic backdrop for Floating Sweet Girl (Zwevend lief meisje).

Omschrijving
Ten independently living elderly people all unexpectedly receive a box at the door in corona time. The box contains a doll. The doll is brought around by three children. They want to surprise the elders during this difficult time and challenge them to a playful task. The people all react differently to the doll: motherly, affected, irritated, indifferent, childlike, etc. More and more is added to the doll by the elders: clothes, a tattoo, a rose, and the box is even replaced by a travel crib. The elderly are finally lured outside by music and a safely distanced dance. Thus, the initial surprise eventually leads to connection. In Oma Corona (Grandma Corona) connection is the goal. A surprising, funny and touching short amateur film by senior theatre group De Rimpel.

Omschrijving
In the 1944 raid on the Assen detention house, 31 resistance fighters were freed without shedding blood. The government in London objected to the plans of the vigilante from Drenthe but the group would not be stopped. On December 10 they consulted each other and the next morning they went into action. Dressed in German uniforms, the young men drove two trucks to the prison to pick up their comrades. The raid lasted barely fifteen minutes. It was later revealed that the prisoners would be executed on December 12. In collaboration with the Digital Art Factory of the ICO, students of the pre-study Brandstof TDI Theatre & Production House made the short film Dare (Durf) - The story of December 11, 1944; about resistance, loyalty, comradeship and courage. The modern-day characters ask themselves a question: would they have dared?
