Filmbal: Lekkend Licht met Ko Kliko

The Film ball: Leaking Light with Ko Kliko is all about the beauty of art made by real people. Leaking Light refers to photographic errors: small glares, discolorations, and "failures" that make the image special. It is about human, analogue and spontaneous art, full of imperfections. Whilerfilm and photography are often judged on technical perfection, Leaking Light opts for the charm of the imperfect. A counter-movement to the smooth, perfect AI images. Here we celebrate what makes it real and alive: the warmth, the coincidence, the uniqueness of the human hand.

The music comes from DJ Ko Kliko, known for her successful party PAUW! in VERA Groningen and as co-founder of Relate Radio. She brings electronic music that is alive and moving, and super danceable, warm and full of human energy. The visuals will be provided by Tedibordi, a VJ, photographer and visual artist from Groningen. Graduated from Minerva Academy, her work moves at the intersection of kitsch and glitch, where technology and imagination come together. During the Film Ball she creates hypnotising live visuals. 

Leaking Light is an ode to the beauty of what seems to have failed, and an invitation to celebrate that art is only really alive when it is allowed to be human. Come and enjoy the night and the light with us!
