Panelgesprek ‘Het belang van de regionale film’
Panelgesprek ‘Het belang van de regionale film’
They are unstoppable: regional films are thriving like never before. The Gaelic film The Quiet Girl' received an Oscar nomination, and currently, four Sami films are making rounds at major film festivals. Plus, the 8-year-old Sofía Otero from the Basque film '20,000 Species of Bees' made history by winning the Golden Bear at the Berlinale, becoming the youngest actress ever to do so. But where are the films from Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe?
During this program, we'll engage in discussions with experts from across Europe who will share their experiences in talent development and film production in their respective regions. Learn how they succeed in putting their regions on the cinematic map.
This event is organized in collaboration with Screen Talent Europe, EBLT, and Filmpact Noord.
Entrance is free, please order a ticket to reserve a seat.
