Masterclass: Digna Sinke

Digna Sinke brings with her more than 50 years of expertise as a filmmaker and producer. In 2023, she received the Golden Calf for Film Culture, and earlier this year, her latest hybrid film Hemelsleutel premiered at the IFFR. In this film, she weaves fiction and documentary together in multiple storylines. As a creator, how do you navigate such a layered structure, and how do you ensure that everything ultimately fits together and comes together?

Hemelsleutel is part of the festival program line NL Eigenzinnig, and will be screened on Thursday 6 November from 13.30pm on in the Blauwe Zaal in Slieker, including an aftertalk with Digna Sinke (in Dutch).
