A vibrant and colourful Romeo & Juliet story, based on real events taking place in Sweden’s 1940s. Two rivalling families both run an amusement park in Stockholm, with exciting rides, shows and attractions. Where Gröna Lund is the respected, bourgeois park, Nöjesfältet offers cheap beer, strippers and run-down attractions. Determined to destroy each other, the two families are fighting a bitter war. In the meanwhile the heirs of the families, John and Ninni, unexpectedly fall in love. In the shadow of the Second World War the conflict escalates between the families in a magical and swirling tale of war, treachery and forbidden love.

It's the 40th edition, an anniversary year, so it's time for a party. And Swoon is a feast for the eyes! A colorful love story set in the 40s, an imaginative roller coaster based on true events.
