Ticket sales start on Wednesday 26 October. Tickets are available at the box office of City Theatre De Harmonie. Before the festival, the box office is open from Monday to Friday from noon to 6pm and on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. During the festival, the box office opens one hour prior to the first movie showing. Tickets can be reserved by phone at 058 – 233 0233. This number is available 24 hours per day; you can leave a message with your reservation. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.harmonie.nl. Please note that passes and ten ticket strips can only be collected personally at the box office of De Harmonie.
New ticket system
Pass holders like the freedom that a pass creates when choosing which films to watch. However, this freedom cannot be guaranteed in the smaller auditoriums because of the limited seating capacity, past experience has shown. Therefore a new system will be used this year. The pass system will remain in use, but there will be an important change. For the smaller auditoriums, which are Filmhuis, Cinema, the Nieuwbouw and the Nivo Noord auditorium, a separate ticket is required. For the larger auditoriums, pass holders can enjoy the same freedom as they have always had. For all performances, part of the tickets will be reserved for pass holders and part for single ticket holders.
Ticket options
There are three ticket options to choose from: a pass, a ten ticket strip or a single entry ticket. Passes are personal (you will receive a wrist band) and are recommended if you are planning to watch many films. A ten ticket strip is not personal; you hand in a ticket strip per film at the box office. Please read carefully the rules below before deciding which ticket option suits you best.
Entry prices
- Pass € 90,- / for matadors € 85,- / students on demonstration of student pass € 50,-
- Ten ticket strip € 75,-
- Single entry ticket € 9,-
For some films and performances different admission prices apply. These prices can be found at the relevant part of the programme.
Rules of play concerning the pass
- For all performances, part of the tickets will be reserved for pass holders and part for single ticket holders.
- Pass holders have to pick up the free tickets for all performances at the Filmhuis, Cinema, the Nieuwbouw and Nivo Noord at the separate desk for passes in the foyer.
- This separate desk opens one hour prior to the first movie showing every day.
- Only tickets for films of that particular day can be picked up, so the tickets for the films on Thursday are available on Thursday, for the films on Friday on Friday, etc.
- You will receive an entry ticket for the smaller auditoriums on presentation of your wrist band.
- Entry to the above mentioned auditoriums is only permitted on demonstration of both your wristband and the entry ticket.
- In the Aegon auditorium, the Friesland Bank auditorium and the Friesland Zorgverzekeraar auditorium, entry is permitted on showing your wrist band only, provided that there are still seats available.
General rules of play
- Combination discounts are not possible.
- Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.
- No entry into the auditorium once the performance has commenced.
