The Noordelijk Film Festival is organizing a workshop on stunt sword fighting with combat choreographer and stunt coordinator Rouke Pouw from Vanguard Action on Saturday 9 November.
Are you inspired by the upcoming exhibition of the Fries Museum “Wij Vikingen”? Do you think fight scenes in movies are fascinating? Have you always wanted to know what it feels like to be a stuntman? Imagine yourself a true viking and learn sword fighting on Saturday 9 November.
Fight choreographer Rouke Pouw and his team provided stunts for films such as Redbad, Michiel de Ruyter, Feuten: the party and The kidnapping of Freddy Heineken. In an hour and a half they will teach you the inns and outs. So release your inner stuntman (or viking) and go into battle.
The workshop is for everyone above 14 years old.
There are two rounds you can participate in at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
