The Filmkick competition is open again for entries! Submit your own film plan with script and have a chance to win € 10,000 to realize your short film this year and to see it world premiere at the upcoming Northern Film Festival! Please note, the deadline for submissions is Thursday 12 March and the award ceremony is scheduled for Thursday 9 April.
With this competition we want to offer a stepping stone and a platform for talented filmmakers. The competition is wide open for short film plans that are fiction, documentary, art film, animation or music video (between 3 and 10 minutes max). Three film professionals will assess the plans with scripts on topicality, originality, feasibility, artistic quality and a relevant link with Friesland. If you are not a Frisian maker, you can still participate by for example filming in Friesland, working with a Frisian crew, including Frisian language in your script, which best fits your plan.
